Annalise – OH clinical workflow

Image acquisition

Non-contrast head CT ordered, where OH is reasonably within the clinical differential. Image is auto-forwarded to Annalise for analysis.

Finding notification

If OH is detected, the case is flagged for prioritization in the radiology worklist and an active notification is sent to clinicians per hospital workflow.

Report signed off

Radiologist reviews case, AI findings, and signs report ensuring that the use of the device is documented.

New Technology Add-On Payment (NTAP)

NTAP is a payment mechanism used by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to support the adoption of important new technologies that offer substantial clinical improvement over existing treatments. The NTAP is available from October 1 2024 and payable for up to three years.

To qualify for this add-on payment, patients must:

  • Be insured by Medicare.
  • Be admitted for inpatient care.
  • Have a NCCT ordered and analyzed by Annalise – OH.
  • Have a total cost of care exceeding the MS-DRG payment.
